"It's the questions we can't answer that teach us the most.
They teach us how to think. If you give a man an answer, all he gains is a little fact.
But give him a question, and he'll look for his own answers."

- English 1201 Library Orientation Worksheet Word - I used versions of this during my time teaching at Seton Hall University. This version was updated as part of the library grant I was involved with during the summer of 2013. This was distributed to all first-year writing faculty and was used as part of the library session assessment pilot program.
- English 1202 Library Orientation Worksheet Word - This is a similar worksheet, but focused on the skills and outcomes desired from the second semester of Freshman English. This was also distributed to all first-year writing faculty and was also used as part of the library session assessment pilot program.
- SHU IL Charts Word - These are charts comparing Seton Hall English Department freshman writing goals with goals for state and national standards along with working lists of desired outcomes and suggested division of focus for first and second semester IF development. I put this together as part of the library grant as a way to see how well the department goals met the state and national goals and to allow the rest of the members of the grant team to make suggestions and offer revisions.
- Information Fluency Presentation PPT - During the fall English department faculty orientation I was asked to present on the work that had been done over the summer, the suggested outcomes and goals for information fluency in 1201 and 1202, and the 1202 library worksheet listed above.
- Information Fluency Take 2 Presentation PPT - I was asked to do a follow up presentation during the first English department Faculty Development meeting. This included sharing the 1201 worksheet as well as some practical suggestions for infusing IF into the writing classroom.
